Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is the best and most natural way to feed a newly born baby.

Breastfeeding is a special and unique experience. Getting good information while you are still pregnant may increase your confidence about breastfeeding. Knowledge and confidence form the basis of breastfeeding well from the start and enjoying it. If you have any questions or you encounter problems, do not hesitate to ask one of us.

Many pregnant women would like to breastfeed their baby after the birth. They usually have a number of questions: How does breastfeeding work? How can I prepare myself for it? What should I be looking out for when I give my baby the breast for the first time? How do you know whether your baby is drinking enough? What if you want to go out to work again after a while? Come to one of the information evenings  about breastfeeding. That is where all these questions will be dealt with.

Breastfeeding is the ideal way to feed your baby. Breast milk contains everything a baby needs especially until the age of 6 months. Breastfeeding is a lot more than just feeding. It is a natural way to build up a nice, healthy relationship with your baby.
